My name is Justine.
I am 22 years old.
I grew up just outside Boston, MA, went to Connecticut College and got my BA in Economics with a minor in European History.
I spent about 4 months living abroad in London and taking classes at UCL, and I recently moved to the San Francisco Bay area.
I work in international business and I love my job.
I have an amazing boyfriend who I have been with for almost 7 years. We're high school sweethearts.
I am socially liberal and a registered Democrat; however, I was raised in a Republican family.
I am an atheist, though I was raised in the Episcopal church and was quite religious up until my late teens.
I enjoy meeting and talking with people who have different beliefs than me, but I have no patience for anyone who is intolerant or judgmental.
I love the fashion industry. My favorite designers are Oscar de la Renta and Burberry, among others.
I love England and everything about English culture, so much so that I hope to live there one day.
History is a major interest of mine - specifically English history - even more specifically, the Tudor era.
If I could eat only Asian cuisine all the time, I would. As it is, I eat Indian food about once a week.
My favorite novel of all time is Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte.
My overall favorite author is Anya Seton.
I am a coffee lover.
I like to work with numbers.
I love researching my ancestry. Half of my ancestors come from various places in Britain, even as far back as year 800.
I am a cat-person, not a dog-person. I long for the day when I can own a kitten of my own.
I love period dramas.

A list of period dramas I consider worthy:

Gone with the Wind (1939)
A Man for All Seasons (1968)
Anne of the Thousand Days (1969)
The Six Wives of Henry VIII (1970)
Elizabeth R (1971)
